In a soul-baring birthday post on her Instagram page, Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi revealed the daunting challenges she faced in 2024, leaving her fans and followers in awe of her resilience and faith.
The actress, during her birthday recounted her harrowing experience with hyperemesis on her Instagram social media page.
According to her hyperemesis,the debilitating illness left her bedridden for months.
Her travails didn’t end there, as she was hospitalized and later underwent an emergency cesarean section.
In a remarkable display of vulnerability, Adesua said “my husband, Banky W, had to undergo surgery to remove a cancerous tumor, further compounding my distress.”
Despite the overwhelming adversity, Adesua expressed gratitude to her medical team in Lagos, Nigeria, and Washington DC, who she credited with saving her life. She also thanked God for her husband’s love and support, as well as her “incredible village people” who extended her grace and love during her darkest moments.
With unwavering determination, Adesua declared, “Now, I am coming for everything that’s mine. Nothing and nobody can stop me.”
