Visionary Golden Academy Shines Bright at 2nd Inter-House Sports Program

The Visionary Golden Academy Dutse Baupma, Abuja, has once again proven itself to be a hub of excellence and talent. The school recently held its second Inter-House Sports Program, and it was an absolute delight to witness.
The event was a showcase of teamwork, determination, and sporting prowess, with students participating in various activities such as March past, relay race, sack race, and tug of war.


The Director of Visionary Golden Academy, Mr. Emmanuel Gajere, commended the parents and management of the school for their unwavering support. 
“We introduced new sporting activities like hurdle long jump, and forward jump, which took place during the heat activities. The grand finalefeatured activities from invited schools and teachers”, he said.
Mr. Gajere also advised parents not to intervene in their children’s chosen careers.

“Everybody has an assignment in this world, and they must be able to tune into that assignment. Two children can never be the same, and parents should not impose their expectations on their children.”


Lawrence Tor, a student of Blue House, who participated in the 100m hurdle and volleyball, said, “My team put in their best to be outstanding, and I am very happy we came out well. I wish the school all the very best in its future endeavours.”
One of the Parents, Mrs. Olivia Chinedu, urged other  parent not to discourage their students from engaging in sporting activities.
 “Sporting activities are essential for the overall development of children, and parents should encourage their wards to participate.”
The Game Master, Mr. Gabriel Ediga, noted significant improvements in the second edition of the Inter-House sport. 
“The Inter-House sport is an opportunity for students to develop their sporting talents. This is a great avenue to develop the talents of our students, and sport is very lucrative now. We urge parents and guardians to encourage their wards to participate in all activities.”
The competition ended with Blue House emerging as the overall winner, followed by Yellow House in second place, Green House in third, and Red House in fourth position.
The Visionary Golden Academy Dutse Baupma has demonstrated its commitment to nurturing the talents of its students.
