In a bid to enhance grassroots development and align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Honorable AbdulAkeira Babake Bello, an APC aspirant for the 2026 Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) election, has unveiled a 7-point agenda aims to bring democratic dividends to the people of AMAC and further drive the administration’s vision for national progress.
The honorable listed education, Agriculture, healthcare, security, and environmental sustainability as key components of his 7-point agenda.
Bello said: “I am from Wuse Ward, and as an APC aspirant for AMAC, I am committed to working tirelessly to improve the lives of our people. Our 7-point agenda includes education, healthcare, agriculture, security, environmental sustainability, and more.”
On education, Babake Bello emphasized that it is the bedrock of every nation, and his administration would work to improve the quality of education, schools, and teacher training in AMAC.
In the healthcare sector, he promised to make healthcare affordable and accessible to all, leveraging the popular saying “health is wealth.”
To address food security, Babake Bello proposed mechanized farming, which would engage the youth in agriculture and maximize the use of arable lands in AMAC.
He also highlighted the importance of security, acknowledging the efforts of Honourable Minister Barrister Nyesom Wike in making Abuja safer.
Babake Bello assured that his administration would collaborate with the minister to maintain security in the area.
Additionally, he emphasized the need for environmental sustainability, promising regular sanitation exercises in AMAC.
DG Engineer Yusuf Hussaini of the Babakay Campaign Organization expressed his support for Babake Bello, stating that he has the capacity and experience to drive the vision to reality.
“They are really behind Baba Kay to support him to drive this vision to a reality , because he has the capacity, 100 percent capacity, a man that has do it before , he knows the terrain very well and all the youth which he belongs to the demographic and they are in support , with his capacity and his antecedent he is the right man for the job”
Sultan Umeugo also endorsed Babake Bello, describing him as a trustworthy and capable leader who has already won the ticket in his eyes.
