The 28th of September of 2024 is the annual Gani festival of the Kaiama emirate in Kaiama local government area of Kwara state.
The Emir of Kaiama his royal highness Shehu Omar Muazu, the Bagidi kiyaru 1 used the occasion of the celebration to announce the appointment of Yunusa Idris as the Ajiyan Kaiama.
Similarly another elder brother of Yunusa Mallam Idris Kilishi was earlier days before the Gani festival made the danmadamin Kaiama.
Today the 29 of September 2024 is the installation and turbaning ceremony of the two traditional title holders at the Emir’s palace Kaiama.
Other personalities are to also be turbaned alongside the two.
Yunusa Idris born to late marafan Kaiama Alhaji Idris Kilishi and Hajia Mariam Idris in Kaiama Kwara state.
He attended several schools. The new Ajiyan Kaiama is a foresighted, humane and grassroots oriented youth who has touched the lives of many.
This recognition further demonstrated the reciprocation of this gesture by the emirate. In his case, the new Danmadami of Kaiama Idris Kilishi was born to the late Danmadami of kaiama Alhaji baba Kilishi. Attended several schools.
