The Lagbaja family of Ilobu Kingdom in Osun State is still grappling with the loss of their son, late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoheed Lagbaja. Receiving a condolence visit from the St. Charles Grammar School, Osogbo, Old Boys Association, family head Mr. Demola Lagbaja expressed regret that Lt. Gen. Lagbaja didn’t get to enjoy life outside the military.
The delegation, led by Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Sola Omopo, eulogized the late Chief of Army Staff, highlighting his contributions to the school, including an ongoing N550m project.
The family had hoped he would retire and enjoy the fruits of his labor, but fate had other plans. “We are very proud of our son, for he made us proud,” Lagbaja said, thanking the association for their visit and kind words.

The Lagbaja family continues to mourn the loss of their beloved son, but finds solace in the outpouring of support and admiration for his legacy.
