Nigerian content creator Kuye Adegoke, popularly known as Egungun of Lagos, has responded to the viral controversy surrounding a leaked video that has gone viral on social media.
The clip, which surfaced recently, shows Egungun on a video call with an unidentified woman while brushing his teeth. During the call, the content creator, who was dressed casually in shorts, inadvertently exposed his private parts, leading to widespread reactions online.
The incident comes just weeks after a separate controversy involving his wife, Pashotah, who revealed that their private videos had been targeted in a blackmail attempt. According to Pashotah, a Snapchat user had mistakenly shared a private video Egungun had intended for her while he was away, sparking a previous wave of online chatter. Despite the situation, Pashotah remained supportive of her husband, defending their marriage and their resolve in the face of the blackmail attempts.
However, the latest video scandal has reignited public scrutiny, with many questioning Egungun’s integrity and his public image as a family man. Critics have used this as an opportunity to revisit the earlier blackmail incident, raising doubts about Pashotah’s defense of her husband and their relationship.
In an apparent attempt to brush off the controversy, Egungun took to Instagram to address the matter, sharing a new video of himself dancing energetically with a woman in his living room to Zlatan and Olamide’s hit song.
His post, which he captioned, “That’s massive baby but still give me your love baby,” appears to indicate that he remains unfazed by the backlash.
