Nollywood actress Chika Ike has officially stepped into motherhood, welcoming a baby girl. While the joyous news has been met with an outpouring of love from fans and colleagues, it has also reignited speculation about the child’s paternity.
The actress, who had earlier faced rumors linking her to billionaire businessman Ned Nwoko, shared the first glimpse of her newborn on Instagram. In the photos taken at the hospital, Ike cradled her daughter, her face beaming with happiness.
The hospital room was decorated with pink balloons and gifts, confirming the baby’s gender. However, she kept the child’s face hidden from the camera.
In her post, she expressed her excitement, writing, “My Baby is here. Welcome to the world, my sunshine star.”
Chika Ike first sparked pregnancy rumors in February when she posted photos of herself in a sheer black dress that revealed her baby bump.
Shortly after, speculations surfaced that Ned Nwoko, who is married to fellow Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, was the father of her child. Neither Ike nor Nwoko addressed the rumors publicly.
Despite the controversy, fans and well-wishers flooded the actress’s comment section with congratulatory messages, celebrating her new journey into motherhood.
