The Honourable Minister of State for Works, Rt. Hon. Bello Muhammed Goronyo, has expressed delight and satisfaction with the Sports Team of the Federal Ministry of Works, congratulating them on their recent success at the monthly inter-ministerial sports competition.
Goronyo made this known when the victorious team paid him a courtesy visit to present the trophies they won at the tournament. The visit was made in his capacity as the Grand Patron 2 of the team.
In a statement signed by Salihu Dantata Mahmud, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, the Minister commended the athletes for their outstanding performance and dedication, describing their victory as a source of pride for the ministry.
He emphasised that sports remains a unifying force in Nigeria, serving as a powerful tool for promoting peaceful coexistence and national unity across ethnic, religious, and social divides.
Goronyo further urged all Nigerians to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship and unity by supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration. He noted that the administration is committed to driving national development, as evident in the ongoing road infrastructure projects cutting across all six geopolitical zones of the country.
