The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the deployment list for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 prospective corps members with a strong safety advisory attached.
The scheme is urging all PCMs to prioritize their safety and avoid night travel as they prepare for camp.
The NYSC announced the release via its official Facebook page and other social media platforms on Monday, directing prospective corps members to log into the scheme’s portal to check their deployment status.
In addition to checking their deployment, the NYSC emphasized that all PCMs must print and sign an important document known as the Addendum, which is to be submitted during registration at the orientation camp.
As part of logistical arrangements, the scheme disclosed that not all corps members will have their orientation courses in their state of primary deployment. Specifically, some PCMs posted to Lagos State will attend orientation camps in neighboring states including Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun. Similarly, those posted to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) may be directed to camps in either Nasarawa or Kaduna State.
“Prospective Corps Members are advised not to travel at night to the Orientation Camp,” the statement warned. “Safety must remain a top priority during transit.”
The scheme’s advisory underscores the NYSC’s ongoing efforts to ensure that the transition into national service is not only smooth but secure for every young Nigerian embarking on this important journey.
