Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has ignited a new wave of backlash after alleging that celebrating Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s newborn grandson equates to celebrating the tragic death of late singer Mohbad.

On her verified Facebook page, Olunloyo dismissed the authenticity of photos shared by Iyabo Ojo announcing the birth of her grandson, suggesting they were AI-generated. She further alleged that the child was born via a surrogate and that the birth details were fabricated.
Olunloyo controversially stated:

“Iyabo Ojo should stop using her AI baby picture to fool the internet. Where’s your AI video? Someone who likes validation. Her fans are very gullible. They think the baby was ‘delivered.’ It was a surrogate baby.”

She further claimed”Priscilla and Jux did IVF planted into a surrogate, and a baby exchange was done months ago. I don’t know the location of birth, but someone close to the Mkambalas in Tanzania claims it was not in Canada but DSalam.”

Olunloyo also alleged that Iyabo Ojo had prior knowledge of an assassination attempt against her, stating

“Imagine Iyabo Ojo having prior knowledge of my assassination being planned, executed 3 times and failed with the assassin late Kenebie begging for forgiveness and Iyabo even apologizing for her PA’s action only to find out when Mohbad did that she even collected N10M from Kenebie not to show up in court and keep me longer in prison?”

Olunloyo addressed messages from Yoruba Nollywood stars urging her to congratulate Ojo on the birth of her grandson. She firmly declined, stating:

“Stop begging me to congratulate Iyabo for ‘Yoruba cultural reasons.’ Iyabo is NOT my friend, she will NEVER be my friend. Don’t use some fake congratulatory message to end a lifetime beef.”

These statements have been met with widespread condemnation. Many have accused Olunloyo of insensitivity and of exploiting a joyous occasion to stir controversy.

Iyabo Ojo has yet to respond directly to Olunloyo’s latest claims. However, the actress has previously threatened legal action against the journalist for involving her children in public disputes.

The ongoing feud between Olunloyo and Ojo continues to captivate public attention, with many urging for restraint and respect for personal boundaries.
