Oodua Integrity Group has called on Police IG Egbetokun to Intervene in Delta State Police Protection Scandal Involving Ibuzor Indigenes, and the Council Chairman.
The group also said some desperate indigenes of Ibuzor alongside the council chairman of Oshimili north local government area of Delta state have embarked on illegal land grabbing and sales in order to raise funds to get Fred Ajudua release.
The Head of investigation of the OIG Olawale Olaniyi stated that Innocent Esewezie Zezekuze the council chairman is in the lead to the illegality.
“Without court order, the operation buffalo has engaged in tormenting and intimidating innocent land owners.
“This is against a recent warning given by the inspector General of police that no Police officer should be involved in civil land matters, the Buffalo team of Delta state Police command has become neck deep.’
The group is appealing to the Inspector General of Police to intervene.
” Presentiy, there is panic among the indigenes of ibuzor”, he said.
