The Federal Capital Territory FCT, on Friday, signed an agreement with park and pay companies (NAJEC Ltd and ATB Nig. Ltd) to address the issues of indiscriminate and authorized parking by car owners and motorists within the metropolis.
Speaking further, the management advised residents to pay stipulated amount for parking, rather than parking car on the walk-way, on top of the green grasses by the road side, which will attract a fine of between 15,000 – 25,000.
“It is advisable to pay N100 or the stipulated amount for an hour or more or rather park at a Bus-stop to avoid your car been towed away and you will end up paying a fine of 15,000.” the management stated.
The court had outlawed the previous exercise, before the reintroduction and it’s coming to effect.
