Afrobeats star Davido has once again denied claims that he is the biological father of Anu Adeleke, insisting that multiple DNA tests conducted at different hospitals proved he has no biological link to the teenager.
Reacting on X, the singer said five separate DNA tests, three chosen by him and two by Anu’s family, all returned negative results. He stressed that he never had a relationship with Anu’s mother, Ayo Labinjoh, stating that the only time he met her was during the DNA testing process.
“After five DNA tests… she dey crase. Her and her mom better leave me the f**k alone and go find her papa,” Davido wrote.
He also threatened legal action, accusing Anu’s mother of harassment and false allegations, while adding that he does not blame the girl involved.
The renewed controversy followed an emotional Instagram post shared on January 15 by Anu Adeleke, in which she described being mocked by classmates after claiming Davido as her father.
The teenager appealed publicly for a fresh DNA test to establish the truth and end years of uncertainty surrounding her identity.
However, Anu’s mother, Ayo Labinjoh, has rejected Davido’s claims, alleging that a DNA result from 2014 was manipulated.
She has called for a new paternity test to be conducted under the supervision of the United States Embassy to ensure transparency.
The dispute has continued to fuel intense debate online, with some social media users backing Davido’s insistence on the DNA results, while others express sympathy for Anu and the emotional toll of the unresolved paternity saga.
Despite Davido’s declaration that he will no longer comment on the matter, the controversy remains unsettled as both sides hold firmly to their positions.
