The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the deadlines for the sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, disclosed this in a statement, noting that the extension also affects the screening timetable for aspirants.
According to the party, the sale of forms will now close at midnight on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, while the submission deadline has been shifted to midnight on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
“The screening of aspirants is scheduled to hold from Friday, May 8 to Tuesday, May 12, 2026,” the statement said.
It added that the publication of the list of screened aspirants will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
The APC said the adjustments are part of efforts to ensure a smooth and inclusive process ahead of the elections.
