The APC candidate, has been declared governor by The Election Tribunal on Wednesday removing Abba Kabiru Yusuf as Kano State governor.
Justice Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay, who led the panel began by proceedings remotely from the Miller Road venue of the tribunal.
Yusuf’s election as Kano State governor invalid, During the hearing, the court then declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Nasir Gawuna, as the rightful winner.
Further more, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was asked by the court to revoke Yusuf’s certificate of return and issue a new certificate to Gawuna, the APC candidate.
