A wanted hoodlum who has been troubling Wuse Market Abuja was arrested this afternoon
The Manager of Wuse market, Abuja, Mr. Zubairu Ibrahim made the disclosure.
According to Ibrahim, a wanted hoodlum who has been giving trouble to the market authorities was sighted and apprehended and made to go through a standard mobile court which found him guilty after trial.

Ibrahim said, “He was later handcuffed and started running away which made some other hoodlums to start throwing stones at the police and burnt the market office including customers vehicle within the vicinity.”
The market manager explained he immediately called for enforcement but before the arrival of mobile police officers it escalated. He further explained that since the increased spade of insecurity in FCT, actions and efforts were taken by the Abuja market management limited to make markets secured hence the eagle eye approach of market security.
“Ordinarily, this would have been avoided if not for the unruly actions of the hoodlums known for causing havoc in the market. However,sanity and peace has returned to the market as the fire service has put off the fire set on one of the offices and security agencies have taken control .
“At the escalation of the crisis,the acting managing director of the Abuja market management limited Engr Yakubu Abbas immediately put a call to the assistant commissioner of police incharge of operations FCT AC Magawata who immediately despatched mobile police officers to the scene and the crisis was controlled. The acting MD arrived the scene immediately,” he said.
