Senator Ned Nwoko urges Christians pray for peace and the preservation of national unity during Easter season.
As Christians commemorate Easter day, The Representative of Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko, has urged all christians to put more effort in serving the nation and to pray for peace and the preservation of national unity.
Senator Ned, made this statement while speaking to reporters in Abuja.
He urged the people to raise their voices against injustice and any actions that hinder equal opportunities, fairness, and national unity. He also said that Easter should be a time for renewing hope and reflecting on the values of compassion, unity, and resilience, stating that Christians to reaffirm their dedication to serving the nation and to pray for peace and the preservation of national unity during this period.
He further said that Easter symbolizes the fulfillment of God’s prophecy, offering eternal hope to humanity through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Christ.
“We want to use this occasion to contribute to making the world a better place for everyone. Also to demonstrate Christ-like compassion towards the less fortunate and vulnerable in society”, he said.
