Channels Television’s reporter in Rivers State, Joshua Rogers, who was kidnapped on Thursday night close to his residence at Rumuosi community in Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State, has been set free.
A close friend of the reporter said he was released around 10:00pm on Friday.
In a statement issued by the management channels Television, it confirms that Joshua has been released.
“Channels Television reporter, Joshua Rogers, who was abducted last night in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has been freed. We thank our viewers and all those who expressed concern over the unfortunate incident.” the statement reads.
