The Ondo Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ezekiel Son’Allah, has confirmed that 3 people died during accident due to wrongful overtaking and route violation by the vehicles involved.
Son’Allah said, “Three persons were killed while the accident was caused by wrongful overtaking and route violation. The victims were taken to Aduloju Hospital Akungba by the policemen
Three persons died in a accident that occurred along Akungba-Ikare Road in the Akoko South-West Local Government Area of Ondo state .
The crash happened on Friday between a Toyota Camry with the registration number of LND 592 GX, and two commercial buses.
It was disclosed that the victims lost their balance and fell in the road before vehicle coming on the other side of the road ran over them, according to the report of an eye witness.
The driver of the car ran away , leaving his car behind which was burnt down by the youth of that place , while the other victims died immediately.
