Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia, also known as 2Baba, arrived at the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja on Wednesday, accompanied by his new partner, Natasha Osawaru.
Osawaru, a lawmaker representing Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly and Deputy Majority Leader.
The tribunal is set to deliver its verdict on a petition filed by the PDP and its candidate, Asuerinme Ighodalo, seeking to annul the election of Governor Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress. This development comes after 2Face publicly announced his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia, in January, followed by a proposal to Natasha in February, which sparked widespread attention .
Since then, the couple has been inseparable, making frequent appearances at social events and shopping outings. Natasha recently updated her Instagram bio to reflect the singer’s surname, Idibia. The couple’s relationship has been subject to scrutiny, with some accusing Natasha of being a homewrecker. However, 2Face has defended his partner, stating that she had nothing to do with his divorce from Annie .
