Against the earlier reported alleged confrontation between a senior DRTS staff and a junior civil defence officer at the head of service gate,the Director of the FCT Directorate of Road Traffic services has resolved the matter amicably through an internal communication with his civil defence counterpart.
It is natural to sometimes disagree and agree. Even though the fracas happened when the civil defence officer intercepted the operatives of the Aepb and disrespected the development control director unknowingly which made the drts senior staff angry.
The civil defence officer never knew that the Development Control Director was a director and had a slip of tongue by saying” is it not same environmental people like you that takes returns from the traders” which got the DRTS staff angry to respond by defending the development control director which was wrongly reported.
Both the DRTS and NSCDC are one and presently operate together under the ministerial task force.
So even brothers of same parents sometimes disagree. The security agencies everywhere are one.
A truce has been made to guide against future reoccurrence. The relationship between the drts and NSCDC remain cordial as the two institutions will continue to work together in areas of collaboration.
