Widows Outreach – Shola Mese Foundation Brings Hope to  Apo-Dutse Community

The Shola Mese Foundation, a non-governmental organization, has launched a Widows Outreach Programme in Apo Dutse Community, Abuja. 

The initiative, aimed at providing economic support to underprivileged widows, was graced by the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Delu Yakubu.

During the event, Delu Yakubu distributed welfare materials and clothing to the widows in the community. 

Dr. Shola Mese, the Founder of the Foundation, stated that the organization is committed to supporting widows in need. “We are here to put smiles on the faces of widows in Apo-Dutse Community. We have engaged in humanitarian work across the country and aim to expand our efforts in the Federal Capital Territory.”

The Foundation’s Managing Director, Mrs. Onyeka Shola-Mese, emphasized that the widows outreach programme seeks to alleviate the plight of underprivileged widows. 

“Our goal is to provide a lifeline to widows who require economic support to rebuild their lives.”

Dorcas Bulus, a beneficiary of the outreach programme, expressed her gratitude to the Shola Mese Foundation for their kindness and support.

 “I am thrilled to be a part of this outreach program. I pray that God will meet you at your point of need.”

The event demonstrated the Shola Mese Foundation’s dedication to empowering vulnerable groups and promoting social welfare in the community.
