Kano Police Arrest 10 Suspects for Kidnapping and Armed Robbery

Kano State Police have confirmed the arrest of 10 suspects in connection with recent kidnapping and armed robbery incidents, including 20-year-old Tukur Lawal (Maikudi), 30-year-old Ado Usman (Ruwa), 27-year-old Sunusi Surajo, 19-year-old Ummulkhairi Ibrahim, and 18-year-old Habiba Shuaibu.

This happened in Gabasswa Local Government Area where 21-year-old Muhammad Bello was kidnapped and victim’s family had received a ransom demand of N15 million .
The police launched a technical-based operation and intelligence-driven investigation, which led to the arrest of the suspects between March 11 and 18. The suspects.

In addition to rescuing the victim on March 17, the police also recovered a Dane gun and N4.85 million from the suspects.

Furthermore, the other five suspected armed robbers were arrested in the Kano metropolis, with two apprehended on March 18 at Badawa layout and another at Kadawa Mill-Tara quarters .
