It is with a heavy heart that I pen these words, not out of obligation, but from a deep well of truth about the man Seyi Tinubu and loyalty. Today, the name of my friend , the son of the president of Nigeria is being dragged through mud, accused of a violent act that cuts against everything I know of him.
What baffled me is that most of this Charlatan do not know Seyi in person, they only see him from afar and they have not had opportunity to meet with him one on one ,but I know their game once one wants to be popular the only gateway is to attack Seyi Tinubu.Seyi is a very kind man , welbehaved , well trained, trained in western world and also a lawyer.
He is a soft-spoken gentleman, Violent is not his way, so you should stop pouring your frustration on Seyi. I am a stakeholder in NANS. If you contest election and lost, you should go and rest. You must not be A NANS president. Why do you allow yourself to be used by politicians to fight an innocent man just because he is the son of the president.
And while the voices of judgment grow louder, I ask that we pause not to excuse, not to dismiss but to remember that behind every headline is a human being, and behind every accusation, there is a deeper story waiting to be heard.
I know, Barr. Seyi Tinubu very well not through tabloids or whispers, but through shared moments, quiet gestures, and the kind of humanity that doesn’t make the news. He is not perfect; none of us is. He is not a violent man, and also not the monster being painted by those too eager to condemn. I have seen his restraint, his humility in private, and his desire to live up to the impossible weight of his name , trying very hard to please everyone that comes across him and work hard for all his friends to be happy.
To the citizen at the center of this, my heart aches for the pain you must feel. You are not invisible in this, and your dignity matters. But I say with the deepest honesty, I do not believe the hand raised against you came from the heart I’ve come to know.
In moments like this, we must not surrender to mob justice. We must not let assumptions become truth or power become guilt. Justice must be blind, yes, but not deaf to truth or mercy. Let the facts come forth, let the law take its course, but let us not forget that the son of the president is still a son, a brother, and a human being.
May we find our way to justice not through vengeance but through wisdom. And may we all, in time, be judged not by our titles but by the truths that live quietly within us.
