Tinubu Appoints Governor Uzodimma as Renewed Hope Ambassador

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as the Renewed Hope Ambassador ahead of the national launch of the Federal Government’s Ward Development Programme.

The appointment was disclosed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to the statement, President Tinubu tasked Governor Uzodimma with ensuring that Nigerians are fully informed about the administration’s achievements and ongoing efforts.

In his new role, Uzodimma will also serve as the Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilisation, working closely with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and state governors.

With immediate effect, the Imo State Governor is expected to collaborate with the APC hierarchy to promote the administration’s policies and programmes across all levels, strengthening nationwide awareness of the Renewed Hope agenda.

As chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Uzodimma will also be responsible for fostering unity, inclusiveness, and strategic coordination within the party. He will work alongside other APC governors, who will also serve as Ambassadors of Hope.

President Tinubu expressed confidence that Uzodimma and his colleagues will effectively communicate the party’s achievements and milestones recorded since 2023, reinforcing the message of Renewed Hope across the country.
