The APC Tinubu Nationwide affirmation Team has called for the election of Barrister Hon. Nicholas Uchenna Odieli as the APC candidate for the Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency of Anambra state at tomorrow’s APC Primary election for flag bearers.
Adebayo Oyadeji the coordinator of the group stated this in Abuja after the group’s profiling and vetting of selected outstanding lawmakers in the making.
According to Adebayo, Hon Uchenna Odieli has been committed to the course of his people even in his private capacity which stands him high above others.
“His immense support for the Tinubu administration during the difficult times cannot also be quantified.
” The 11th House of Representatives requires versatile, resourceful, humane and bridge builders like Odieli to attract development from Federal to his constituency.
“Backgroud check carried out on him placed him ahead of others. We therefore appeal to the electoral committee, selection and election committee to ensure fairness,equity and use of discretion”.
The Coordinator added that the election of Odieli at the primaries will not only yield positive votes and victory for the APC, but as well as the winning of the House of Representatives election.
” He has grassroot support and endorsed electorates capable of giving the opposition parties tough time during general elections.
” Mistakes should not be made as he stands at a better chance to defeat the opposition after the primary elections.”
