Stakeholders back DRTS Director Yaldu over recent internal posting

The Traffic Transparency Initiative has commended the Director  of Fct Directorate of Road Traffic Services Abubakar Yaldu over recent posting of staff from one place to the other.
The  Coordinator of the TTI Adebayo Sunkanmi stated that such step could enhance productivity, promote equity, increase experience and skills in staff, as it is the routine practice in civil service, military, police and even the private sector.
The posted staffs should take it in good faith. The TTI emphasized that such bold moves makes an organisation to strive.
He further appreciated the DRTS Director  on how number plates is now being easily accessed with clients mostly motorists smiling.
The TTI however call for arrest of agents who hoard number plates because from intelligence sources,some touts keep number plates illegally making the situation to be sometimes difficult since the process is now online.
“We also  condemn the barbaric stabbing and killing of a Ministerial task force volunteer by a motor cyclist during an operation.
” It is inhuman and must not be tolerated.
The restriction of commercial motorcycle use in the city centre and some parts of FCT suburb took effect from the El Rufai administration.
“This has helped to reduce motorcycle accident and  is used for criminal activities,we advise that it should be sustained.”
