The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON.

The exercise will take place across all wards in the country, allowing existing members to validate their details while new members and intending supporters can register to join the party.

The APC said applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).

The party urged its members, supporters and other stakeholders to participate in the registration exercise.
