The FCTA Economic Planning, Research and Statistics Department conference hall was full of creme Dela creme of different departments as Alhaji Adamu Ibrahim Wanki, takeover as the new Director of treasury from Alhaji Zanna A Hamza, the Former Director who retired after attaining sixty years of age in service.
The handing over took place at the conference hall of the Economic Planning, research and Statistics conference hall in area 11 Abuja.
The meeting had in attendance the Director of funds and revenue FCTA, Director of budget and treasury, Director of Administration and Finance Agric secretariat, Director of Administration and finance transportation secretariat, Director of Audit FCTA, Director Monitoring and inspection FCTA, acting Chairman FCT internal revenue service as well as staffs of the treasury department.
Alhaji Adamu Ibrahim Wanki is the most senior professional director in the department before his appointment.
The treasury department of the Federal Capital Territory administration serves as the monetary powerhouse of the administration as the department controls all internal and external finance including revenues generated for the fct.
