The reinstated Kwara PDP state youth leader Prince Haliru Dantsoho Mahmud days after his reinstatement by the national working committee of the party which overruled the earlier suspension by the state chapter has rendered his resignation citing non compliance with party guidelines and principles by the state chapter among other things which has reduced the strength and acceptability of the party in all the nook and crannies of the state. The monopoly and one man garrison with loyalty to only former Senate President Bukola Saraki has crippled the party inthe state with nothing to show. As a bonafide party member who cares for development,my best bet is to resign and let the state PDP continuously mortgage it future inthe bag of Bukola Saraki. No right thinking or exposed person would stay to be manipulated as it is presently the case in Kwara state PDP. Even after my reinstatement by the nwc,the foot soldiers of Saraki in my Kaiama ward 1 acting ignorantly took some decisions lacking in morals and dignity which from all indication was borne out of the little stipends Saraki offered them to querry me on my exoneration after fact finding by the national headquarters. Were the state PDP disciplined,there wouldn’t have been course to disobey the decision of the highest decision making arm of the party at national level. Inorder to sustain my principle,I hereby tender my voluntary resignation.
