Economic and financial crimes commission EFCC operatives invaded federal university of technology Akure, Ondo state at 2am in the early hours of the morning to arrest students .
The students lamented bitterly as some took to their social media pages to share videos, and claim that the operatives forced their ways into the room and arrested some students.
In the videos posted on social media , it showed broken window and door frames , this is however the proof students presented to show that the operatives forced their way in
The agency’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale was contacted to give more information about the issue but he didn’t respond .
Mr Ola Olukoyede ordered EFCC operatives from sting operations at night in November, after the arrest of suspected internet fraudsters in Ile-Ife,Osun states by operatives of EFCC which rouse scandalous cases nationwide then.
A social media user with the name J Brandy, urged EFCC not to raid at night again.
