The All Progressives Congress (APC) has directed that all Ward, Local Government and State Executive Committees elected during its 2026 congresses be sworn in immediately or as soon as possible, in line with the party’s constitution.
The directive was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the statement, the party instructed that the newly elected executives across the various levels of the congresses be formally inaugurated “today or soon hereafter in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Party’s Constitution.”
The APC also expressed appreciation to its members, stakeholders and supporters for the peaceful conduct of the congresses nationwide.
“Our great Party wishes to thank all members, stakeholders and supporters for the peaceful conduct of Congresses around the country. Congratulations to all,” the statement read.
