The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved an extension of the timeline for the purchase and submission of forms ahead of its forthcoming Zonal Congress and National Convention.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON.
“Accordingly, purchase and submission of forms will now hold from March 12, 2026 to March 23, 2026,” the statement read.
The party, however, clarified that the revised schedule does not affect the dates already fixed for the events. “The Party wishes to clarify that this adjustment does not affect the previously scheduled dates for the conduct of the Zonal Congress and the National Convention,” Morka stated.
Providing further details, he said, “The Zonal Congress will hold on March 25, 2026, while the National Convention will take place from March 26 to March 27, 2026, as earlier announced.”
The APC also announced a change in venue for one of its zonal meetings. “Further, the Party hereby announces a change in venue for the South-South Zonal Congress now scheduled to be held in Asaba, Delta State,” the statement added.
Morka noted that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had been officially notified of the adjustments in line with statutory requirements.
“Our great Party urges all members and stakeholders to take note of these updates and make necessary adjustments,” he said.
