The controversy surrounding Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, and his father, Fatai Odunsi, has taken a dramatic turn as the two have made peace.

Fatai Odunsi, who had called out Asake in a viral video, asking Nigerians to beg the artiste to assist him, revealed that his son has promised to buy him a house, settle his medical bills, and take care of his daughter.

In an interview with digital creator, Aki Abolade, popularly known as Mrlilgaga, on Sunday, Odunsi expressed happiness and pride in his son, saying Asake had agreed to take care of all the issues raised.

“He (Asake) has said they should look for a house that he will buy for me and they have been looking for it since yesterday (Saturday). He has started doing it,” Odunsi said.

In a surprising turn of events, the situation became even more complicated when a lady identified as Adijat, claiming to be Asake’s baby mama, accused the singer of abandoning their 11-year-old daughter.

Odunsi also revealed that Asake had accepted his daughter, whose mother claimed the singer had abandoned her. “He (Asake) has said he will take care of her,” Odunsi said.

However, with the latest development, it appears that Asake has taken steps to address the issues raised by his father and baby mama.
