BINANI AIR has announced the commencement of ticket sales ahead of its inaugural flight scheduled for May 10, 2026, as the airline prepares to begin commercial operations in Nigeria.
The announcement was disclosed in a statement issued by the Head of Corporate Communications at BINANI AIR, Arit Effanga, who said ticket sales would officially open at 12 noon on Monday, May 4, 2026.
According to the statement, the development marks a major milestone for the airline as it transitions from planning to full operations, with preparations underway to welcome its first set of passengers.
Speaking on the development, the Chief Executive Officer of BINANI AIR, Aminatu Dahiru Chiroma, described the commencement of ticket sales as a defining moment for the airline.
“Opening our ticket sales is a defining moment for us. It is the point at which our commitment becomes real for the travelling public. From this moment, we are not just preparing to fly, we are preparing to serve,” she said.
The airline said it is entering the aviation market with a focus on reliability, safety, operational discipline, and respect for passengers’ time, noting that it aims to deliver seamless and reassuring travel experiences.
BINANI AIR added that passengers would benefit from a streamlined booking process, responsive customer service, and a professional service culture designed to prioritise comfort from the first point of contact.
The airline also called on travellers, corporate partners, and other stakeholders to be part of its launch journey, expressing optimism about contributing to renewed confidence in Nigeria’s aviation sector.
