Nigerian social media personality and crossdresser Bobrisky, has reportedly left Nigeria, following a series of confrontations with authorities. Shortly after his release from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Bobrisky shared an update on Instagram, documenting his departure from Nigeria.
In a video clip now trending, Bobrisky hinted at his resilience and affluence, sharing, “See you soon, Nigeria. This girl bought a first-class ticket three times, that’s over 30 million. Raise the bar for this girl.” The message seemed to celebrate his successful exit despite multiple attempts by authorities to prevent him from leaving.
Reports indicate that Bobrisky had been apprehended twice in recent days. His first detention occurred at the Seme border by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) while allegedly attempting to cross the border. Shortly after, he was re-arrested by EFCC officers at Lagos’ Murtala Mohammed International Airport as he tried to board a flight to London.
The crossdresser’s departure follows allegations that he bribed EFCC officers with N15 million, a claim that surfaced on social media and reportedly fueled the investigations.
