The Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria has presented the distinguished Lay Faithful award to Sir Eric Togbe in recognition and appreciation of his good work.
The lay faithful award was as a result of his great performance.
“Sir Eric Togbe have truly distinguished himself as an inspirational and transformational child of God in several ways. He has sustained his godly character throughout the year.
A friend of the awardee, Oba Ahmed commended the patriotic drive of the awardees.
While speaking he said “Through hard work and grace, Sir Eric, rose to become distinguished in the committee of faithful. He truly deserved to be appreciated for excellent performance and selfless service to God and humanity.
“I commend him for always identifying with the success of the church, this is an indication of his love and undying passion for God and humanity.
“I am very proud of his unrelenting strides in his beliefs, and he has proved beyond doubts that there is great hope for tomorrow through his transformational touch of accomplishment”, he said.
According to Ahmed, the awardee is a man of courage who believes in possibilities against all odds.
“A shining star and example of current trending in de-mechanizing and re-humanising on the way you relate with people of diverse group”, he said.
