The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that candidates who applied for recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) can now check their application status.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), applicants are to visit the official recruitment portal https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng beginning Thursday, October 30, 2025.
The portal will enable candidates to confirm whether they have been shortlisted for the next phase of the recruitment exercise and to check the venues and dates for their Computer-Based Test (CBT).
“Shortlisted candidates are further requested to take note of the venue, date, and time scheduled for the CBT,” the statement read in part.
The Board also cautioned applicants to rely only on the official portal address and to be wary of fraudulent websites or individuals claiming to offer recruitment assistance.
“All applicants are enjoined to take note of the Board’s portal address highlighted above to avoid being scammed,” the statement added.
