Nollywood actress Stella Damasus recently revealed that she discovered her marriage to filmmaker Daniel Ademinokan had ended through YouTube videos. In a candid interview on Teju Babyface’s podcast, she recounted receiving calls from friends directing her to online content about her failed marriage.
In response, Ademinokan took to Instagram to challenge her narrative, sharing an email dated July 20, 2021, from Damasus requesting an address to send divorce papers. He emphasized that he had remained silent since their separation but felt compelled to address what he termed as “lies.”

He further stated that his ex wife filed for a divorce via his mail which he attached the mail that was sent in her name .
Damasus, who married Ademinokan in 2014, stated that she was unaware of the separation until she stumbled upon videos online. “Before I’m done typing my name, videos just start coming up, ‘Stella’s 3rd marriage crashes, karma’s a bi!tch,…’ I’m like ‘wait what? I didn’t know that’,” she said.
Ademinokan further revealed that he ended the marriage for the well-being of himself and his son, alleging that during his marriage to Damasus, his son suffered physical abuse, once even needing makeup to conceal an injury for school.
“Yes, I moved out. Not out of drama,but out of self-preservation, for my sanity and for my son’s safety. I won’t unpack the full extent of what he endured, but let’s just say ,when a child needs makeup to hide a scar before school, the damage run deeper than the skin.
He’s alive. He remembers. And so do I “.
