A popular Nigerian Comedian, DesTalker exposed how he tried to committ sucide thrice after recounting his struggles that made him think of taking his own life
The Stand up Comedian revealed this while speaking in a recent interview on the Afrobeat podcast narrating his struggles after graduating from university unable to find a lucrative career ending up as a commercial motorcyclist.
“I was struggling, doing things on my own. It was not easy. There were a lot of distractions that it got to the point that I was suicidal. I attempted suicide three good times. That is when I know that even I cannot take my life,” He said
Due to frustration from family members, DesTalker stated that he tried to take his own life thrice as a result of the struggle and challenges to meet up expectations as a graduate.
“That is why I now believe that when you are suicidal your miracle is close, the devil does not just want you to attain it. The closer you are to your destiny, the more difficult the challenges.
He urged viewers and listeners of the show to have a blueprint of what they have put their mind to become and to be deliberate at what they want.
“We talked about sacrifice. From school, public administration, no work, doing okada, but the truth is I already have it in my mind that I will not work for anybody. First of all, you must have a blueprint of what you want to become,” he said.
