The Director Information and Public Relations NYSC, Mr Eddy Megwa has lauded journalists for prompt reportage of the scheme’s activities.
The Director made the disclosure during his valedictory session with members of the fourth estate of the realm.
He further urge NYSC to uphold the professional ethics of Journalism as they continue to report NYSC programmes.
He enjoined Journalists to make clarifications from the Scheme whenever the need arises.
“Do not rush to the press to publish incorrect and damaging stories about the Scheme”.
He added that the support from Journalists contributed in no small measure to his success as the 28th image maker of the Scheme.
The outgoing Director also enjoined the youth corespondents to accord more support to his successor in order to succeed in the discharge of the statutory responsibilities as the next Director of Information and Public Relations of NYSC.
