The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, has expressed the Federal Government’s commitment to revitalizing the agricultural sector during a ministerial press briefing.
He outlined four primary agendas that align with the ministry’s mission: Food Security, Economic Growth, Job Creation, Poverty Eradication, and Inclusiveness.
Kyari also delved into the ministry’s key areas of focus, emphasizing integration, sustainability, and resilience in addressing challenges.
“The priority actions are divided into immediate (ongoing until 2023), short-term (from 2023 to 2024), medium-term (from 2024 to 2026), and long-term (from 2024 to 2027)”, he said .
