A former President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities Prof Dipo Fasina, has been declared missing.
This was said to have happened on Saturday, 1st July, 2023, when he reportedly missed his connecting flight from Istanbul Turkey
Fasina, a 76 years old man was said to be on a trip to Algeria, the North Africa country as a guest.
Media reports quoted chairman of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri to have said the commission is aware of the sudden disappearance of Fasina and working on it.
Fasina, who was popularly called Jingo by his students, he taught Philosophy at the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, is also known to be a human and Labour rights activist.
