In a strongly worded statement, Chief Oliver Okpala, Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment to the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has dismissed claims made by Alhaji Buba Galadima that Ganduje lacks electoral value.
Galadima’s comments, made in a recent interview, were described by Okpala as “baseless and ridiculous,” with Okpala questioning Galadima’s credibility as a politician.
“Alhaji Buba Galadima is a failed, rejected, and frustrated politician without any base in Nigeria,” Okpala said. “His past political record of mercantilism, political duplicity, and incompetence clearly shows he has no space of existence in the current political landscape in the country.”
Okpala highlighted Ganduje’s achievements as a two-term Governor of Kano State and his current leadership of the APC, describing him as a “tested and trusted, result-orientated technocrat and politician of high repute.”
“Ganduje is a grassroots politician with results to show,” Okpala said. “Where are Galadima’s results? He is a barren, outdated politician who has outlived his usefulness.”
Okpala also noted that the APC, under Ganduje’s leadership, is “sailing smoothly” and continues to grow stronger, in contrast to Galadima’s NNPP, which is “suffering serious lacerations due to an intractable and untreatable factionalization.”
