After 419 days of relentless genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, Ambassador of the Embassy of the State of Palestine , Abdullah M Abu Shawesh said the situation has been described as “Hell” and one of the worst and most difficult situations in the world.
As of November 27, a staggering 44,249 Palestinians have been martyred, and 104,746 injured, with the majority being children and women .
According to to a statement, the war has disrupted the education of over 625,000 students and impacted the lives and livelihoods of 22,564 teachers.
“It is not overstating to say everyone {in Gaza} is traumatised,” The situation in Gaza has been described as “Hell” and one of the worst and most difficult situations in the world,” Shawesh said
The statement reads: “The conflict has not only resulted in devastating loss of life but has also severely disrupted the education of over 625,000 students and impacted the lives and livelihoods of 22,564 teachers. Almost all school buildings in Gaza have been either entirely or partially destroyed due to Israeli air strikes .
“Furthermore, the Israeli military has been accused of using Palestinian civilians as human shields in the occupied Palestinian territories. Investigations by The New York Times and CNN have revealed that Israeli soldiers and intelligence agents have forced captured Palestinians to conduct life-threatening reconnaissance missions.
“The International community has been urged to take action to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where 79% of the Gaza Strip is under Israeli evacuation orders, and 90% of the population are internally displaced.”
