The Chairman of the Abuja Scrap and Environmental Waste and Scavengers Association, Muntari Mohammed, has highly lauded the infrastructural facelift as well as economic empowerment drive of Governor Inuwa Yahya of Gombe State.
Muntari made this known after nominating the Governor as the Best Performing Governor of the Year in its 2026 Performance Elevation Award. Supported by the Arewa Youths for Peace and Security and the Global Information Team, the group commended the Governor and urged him not to relent in his good works.
“The peace and security enjoyed by the good people of Gombe State is made possible by the determination, commitment, and dexterity of the Governor and deserves encomiums.”
“In terms of education, security, human capacity development, and community empowerment, we score him high, hence our decision to nominate him.”
The group noted that the award will be presented to His Excellency in Abuja or Gombe.
“Good leaders are assets even outside their homes, and we encourage other Governors to emulate him”.
