The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mariya Mahmoud, has expressed deep appreciation after being named Minister of State of the Year at the 6th Edition of the Accolade Yellow Ball and Awards held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Abuja.
Speaking while receiving the award as Guest of Honour, Mahmoud described the recognition as a testament to the dedication and collective efforts of the Federal Capital Territory Administration under the leadership of FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
She stated that the honour would further motivate her to continue contributing meaningfully to the development and transformation of the Federal Capital Territory in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to the Minister, leadership is fundamentally about service, compassion, commitment, and creating opportunities that positively impact the lives of citizens.
Mahmoud dedicated the award to the resilient residents of the FCT, particularly women, youths, and community leaders whose support and cooperation continue to strengthen the administration’s resolve to deliver impactful governance.
