The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has invited all domestic airlines to a crucial meeting scheduled for Wednesday in Abuja to address pressing issues affecting the aviation sector.
Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, at the NCAA, Michael Achimugu disclosed the development in a post on his official X handle on Tuesday.
He wrote: “The NCAA has invited all domestic airlines to a meeting in Abuja slated for tomorrow, Wednesday.”
Key issues on the agenda include “unruly passenger behaviour, unresolved refund and compensation complaints, enforcement of phone switch-off instructions, and improved protection for cabin crew.
“The meeting will also explore the introduction of RFID bag tags, flight monitoring technology, and measures to enhance the overall travel experience for passengers.
“The session will be streamed live on the NCAA’s official X and Facebook pages. The public has been encouraged to follow @NigeriaCAA for updates,” he wrote.
