Nigeria-China Peace Council Launches Channel News Africa China to Foster Cultural Ties

The Chairman of the Nigeria-China Peace Council, Mr. Chen Xiao, has said the establishment of Channel News Africa China (CNAC) aims to showcase Nigeria’s hospitality and welcoming environment, enhancing the country’s global image.

Xiao who is also a chief in Nigeria stated this during a visit to the National chairman of the All Progressive Congress Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

While discussing efforts to promote economic and cultural ties between Nigeria and China, Xiao revealed how he intend to use his media outlet to breach the ghween cultures

He said “ We are promoting the economic between Nigeria and China.

“Yes, I love Nigeria so much. I also want to be the good bridge between Nigerian and China.”

Xiao emphasized his role in fostering these relationships and the significance of cultural exchange. He also mentioned the establishment of Channel News Africa China (CNAC) in 2024, aimed at bridging cultural understanding between China and African countries, including Nigeria.
“China News CAN. It was founded last year 2024 Bauchi . It was supported by ECOWAS also at the Union.

“CNAC will rotate its headquarters every four to five years, with the next rotation planned for Nigeria.

“The forum will showcase Nigeria’s hospitality and friendly environment, enhancing global perception of the country.”

Ganduje emphasized that the partnership is mutually beneficial for both Nigeria and China.

“China, it is it is a win win situation. People will have the opportunity to understand the Chinese culture, Chinese society, the Chinese attraction, the Chinese economy. At the same time, Chinese will be able to understand what is Nigeria.”
