The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has debunked a viral message falsely claiming it has commenced recruitment for the 2025/2026 Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) and Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC), urging the public to disregard such fraudulent information.
In a statement issued by , the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, clarified that “no such recruitment exercise is currently ongoing,” describing the circulating messages as “false and misleading.”
He added, “The NAF recruitment process is free, transparent, and strictly merit-based. We do not charge applicants at any stage, nor do we engage third-party agents or middlemen.”
Ejodame advised the public to only rely on official NAF channels for authentic recruitment updates and to be cautious of online scams.
